Moses Sumney slid into my Dms!
Still levitating from last night! Sooo If you watched my stories this week, you might recall my post asking if anyone has a free tix for me to see Moses Sumney and Daniel Caesar in concert. I posted with no expectations at all but some how the stars aligned and I got a reply from Moses himself...he asked "what city?" and I did a double take and I'm thinking is he replying to the right account!?.lol... I replied "
Toronto"...then crickets.🦗...
.
...the next morning, I checked my Dm's with another message from him saying "I got you...gimme your full name and I'll list you +1" 😭 I was floored, literally.
.
I knew I had to bring my friend Ilana who had lost her mom weeks before and whom we laid to rest on my birthday...this experience was sooo needed!
.
It's really the chances we take on ourselves that can really transform our world...its so special when someone takes a chance on you, giving the gift of music and absolutely amazing show. I am truly honored, thank you Moses!

Listen! I would be remiss if I did not mention the whole concert was a fantabulous class act with amazing shows by @charlottedaywilson showcasing the stunning @itsjoannamajoko on vocals and @afroloops_ on percussion with @badbadnotgood @mustafathepoet and of course our very own @danielcaesar 💜
.
It doesn't hurt to ask...sometimes
